Mending 101 with Rose:
Mondays 1:30- 3:30:
· January 11- lengthen/ shorten hems; add a ruffle; kick pleats
· January 18- hems; darn a hole; patch a tear; ripped seam; mend in-seam pockets
· January 25- sew on button; replace elastic; ripped zipper; top stitching; restring drawstring
· February 1, 8- cuffs for pants; decorative repair; lengthen sleeve; eliminate cleavage
$30 for 1 class
$100 for 4 classes

Beginning Sewing 102 with Rose
You learn how to read a pattern envelope, follow a pattern, use a sewing machine, and basic sewing skills.
You make a garment of your choice (with teacher’s approval).

Sewing 103 with Rose:
Continue building your skills with a class on learning hand sewing, putting in zippers, top stitching, different appropriate hem stitches, French seams and smocking.

Bridal Workshop (Sewing 104) with Rose:
Students will learn how to make 3 different types of bridal veils, a mantilla, party/ bridal favors, a ring pillow and garter; tiara and headband. Skills included are embellishing, beading, ribbon work and simple embroidery. Great class if you want to go into the business.
7- 2 hour classes, level: machine and hand sewing skills required.

Children’s Beginning Sewing I with Yehudis:
9- 12 year olds are welcome to come and learn how to read a pattern and use a sewing machine.
